Since 1922, the Wayland Garden Club has actively sought to stimulate and educate members in their knowledge and practice of conservation, horticulture and the artistic use of plant material throughout the community. Our passion is evident with our well attended workshops and lectures, and through our community service projects.
Upcoming Events Open to the Public
On Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00, Wayland’s historic center will come alive with holiday festivities. Every year at this event, the Wayland Garden Club puts on a display of festive greenery at the Wayland Museum & Historical Society. Every room of the museum bursts with flower arrangements and creatively displayed evergreens. All are welcome to come admire the decorations while enjoying a reception with tea and homemade cookies, and musical entertainment provided by Wayland High School students.
On Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, the Garden Club will hold its popular annual plant sale. The sale features plants from our own members’ gardens including perennials for both shade and sunny gardens, a large assortment of native plants, vegetables, herbs and even small trees.
